Average car price doesn't make sense to compare to marginal car price. A new Corolla is still 21k.
- taylodl 4y agoThat moves the monthly cost from $780 to $650. That's still an expensive proposition.
- klooney 4y agoHow are you calculating that? If I plug 22k into a random auto loan calculator like https://www.bankofamerica.com/auto-loans/auto-loan-calculator/ https://www.bankofamerica.com/auto-loans/auto-loan-calculato... I do not get 650 a month, I get 421 with the current high interest rates.
