AirBnB should be controlled because it's annoying to have tourists in residential zones.
But it seems weird to propose cutting the visas to help the housing crisis.
If there's a housing crisis then build more houses to increase supply, don't cripple the economy to reduce demand.
- JetSpiegel 4y agoBuild more houses, where? There's no lack of houses in the sticks, you can't just raze the city center and build skyscrapers.
- srazzaque 4y agoSounds simple enough, but there's a small problem. Increasing supply might negatively affect property values. ... And people influencing policy are likely property owners, or at least represent property owners.
