Sounds like a familiar story. Years ago I travelled to Paris, partly to visit another retro computing museum: the Musee de l'Informatique in the Grand Arch at La Défense. I’d heard great things so it was a huge disappointment to arrive and find it had “temporarily” closed a few days earlier due to problems with the building’s elevators.
