Ask HN: Could you be interested by a Web3 blockchain DB toolkit/SDK?
Hi everyone,
I got an idea, don't know if it's a good one: to create a smart contract that help developers designing a database living in the blockchain (solidity based to start).
The idea is that the author of the DB could set a schema for a column, with fees for each data creation, details if some entries are mandatory or not (or editable, transferable ...), and then when browsing the website, users could be autonomous managing their own data on the blockchain.
The biggest interest here is to don't have any backend, and let people manage their own data.
I already have a poc running on production if anybody is interested.
Don't hesitate also to tell me if it's a bad idea (and why)
Thx !

- SSL3IO 4y agoI plan to add at least to ways to communicate with the DB: - a plain JS frontend SDK, to develop true serverless apps/websites - an API free to use that will let developers check the data hosted on the blockchain with DB3
