Ruby died after Sass matured and left the nest

  I feel like Ruby usage slowed after all of the innovations from the rails era - convention over configuration/erb/haml/slim/activerecord/coffeescript/sass became mainstream and were adopted into all the various frameworks or into javascript itself. Good ideas deserve to be everywhere. That being said I dont think webdev is in a good place now or done evolving by a long shot.

  Maybe Homebrew can hopefully one day do the same.
