The person working there told me that they do this only to people from the US. People from Europe get shown the correct price.
Wow. Somehow, that seems shadier than just showing a misleading price then piling on fees for everyone.
- rqtwteye 4y agoTo me it just shows that a lot of companies will use dark patters if there are no regulations that prohibit them.
- _nalply 4y agoIf one company doesn't, then the customers will take the cheapest they believe to get. To me it just shows that sometimes strict regulation is the right thing to avoid the tragedy of commons.
