Now if they would allow me to permanently disable Edge for PDFs. Every week and sometimes several times a week I need to reset Windows 10 default PDF reader off of Edge and back to SumatraPDF. Or delete Edge entirely.
- shitlord 4y agoI actually like Edge as a PDF viewer. It's the only reason I use Edge at all. It loads quickly, doesn't try to sell me things, and stays out of the way. Sumatra seems like a nice tool. It can't possibly be worse than Adobe Reader.

- krded 4y agoI work with secure pdfs at work quite often, and yes Edge randlomy try to open pdfs. Sending me to reset the pdf handler to an external app or force a download and then open app, point to file, open. under my breath...another worklfow broken grumblegrumble and time added when I did not need it grumblegrumble, how do I force a change/automate, more time lost grumblegrumble
