It was fine for lawyers to represent Russians and Russian oligarchs before February 2022. After all, the West is a democracy based on the rule of law. After February 2022, Russian oligarchs have become enemy combattants from an unfriendly state (literally their wording), and have thus placed themselves outside of the scope of our rule of law. We have nothing to gain from allowing them to act as plaintiff's in our court systems.
