Editorialized title unfortunately. The legislation of two German states to allow automated data analysis ... is unconstitutional. They'll need to narrow the scope and specify thresholds when to apply the data (and will probably do well to limit application and storage to not run the risk to have it struck down again). It's not a broad decision that automated data analysis for crime-prevention is unconstitutional.
