Red light therapy (or real sunlight exposure) has been considered hoax science until very recently. Even now most people are not aware of the new papers coming out that show a significant effect. My prediction is that you will soon see a lot more infrared spectrum lighting. We will think it crazy to not include that part of the spectrum it in hospitals and nursing homes.
