Bitcoin's Ordinals NFTs Break Usage Records, but Cause Controversy

- alvivanco 4y agoAs you may know, Bitcoin can be divided into very small pieces called satoshis (or sats). With the new Ordinals protocol, people who operate Bitcoin nodes can add "special" information to each of these tiny pieces (sats), creating something called an Ordinal. Similar to the smart contracts we are familiar with Ethereum. In turn, these can create what we know as NFTs. Ordinals is essentially the name of "NFTs" in the bitcoin world.
