I see no reason this should not be the case. That is the starting wage in my Dallas area school district.

  Where I grew up, this kind of thing would make the schools go to a 3 day per week schedule. They are already on a 4 day schedule due to budget problems.

  Isn't that actually an argument against a minimum salary? Market has already adjusted.
