Tried KDE recently after several years. Scrapped it as soon as I realized it doesn't have easy to enable global emacs key-bindings like Gnome. I swear this used to be possible 15 years ago. I also expected more configuration options than Gnome. But, there was no way to disable showing the contents of windows when windows are moved (Gnome doesn't allow this anymore either).
