Lufthansa: IT fault causes flight disruptions worldwide
- xrayarx 4y agoDuring construction work, fiber optic cables were cut. AFAIK it would be standard practice to have at least two different routes from the data center. The place I work at is tiny compared to Lufthansa, but the three datacenters we have are of course connected twice, because an incident like that is going to happen sooner or later.
