I graduated class of 2007 (when companies stopped hiring due to the GFC), I did not get much consolation either. Got the opposite, in fact - everyone telling me I was being a spoiled millennial and everything was my fault. I couldn't get a job for a year.
All of my peers made it through, so will the class of 2023.
- ipaddr 4y agoI graduated in 2001 and it was extremely difficult to break in. Minimum wage programming jobs that were so competitive other candidates were left crying when they couldn't land a position. Just keep pushing.
