There was more to the Bard issues than this. The live Paris demo in which the demo phone couldn't be found live on stage (!!) is one of the worst large scale public presentations I've seen in a while, like Tesla Cybertruck window smash bad. At least the Cybertruck was there though! There were really two big mistakes Google made in the unveil - the incorrect result and the "missing" phone. The latter is wild for a Google sized org, imagine if Apple didn't have an iPad or iPhone on hand to demo a next generation iOS feature at a public keynote in front of the media. I'd love to know what the real story behind the lost demo phone is.
