This is not a good article. In the same podcast they're quoting, Sam says something along the lines of "yes ChatGPT was not a good product, but Bing Chat is a huge improvement, better model, better features, ready for production release to the world and everyone should be using it." That's the story, that he is now marketing Bing Chat as a great product totally different than ChatGPT, when in fact it seems to be basically the same thing but with search results fed into the prompt and some fake "citations" included to make it feel more legit.
