I know this fact won't change your mind. But just in case anyone reading was wondering who decided on 'Ukraine'.
- RobertRoberts 4y agoI have never even heard it called "the Ukraine" or said it myself, so I don't need convincing of that. I think it's inherently wrong for one culture to make demands of another because of a perceived offense by such a small amount of people. Imagine how this would play out if the US demanded everyone pronounce and say our country's name exactly as we prefer.
