How you feel about it will be dominated by 1) your commute time, cost and unpleasantness, 2) your home office situation (ranging from empty mansion to tiny noisy apartment crammed with family), and further down the list your age, marital status and whether you like your coworkers etc. However you feel about it, clearly many people do like it.
