- CydeWeys 4y agoI don't like hybrid because I prefer to go in every day but a lot of my coworkers don't come into the office very often. I'd rather teams were fully WFO or fully WFH instead of hybrid. That's not really an option at my work though.
- RestlessMind 4y agoHybrid absolutely requires the days in office to be the same for everyone. Anything else is just stupidity on the management's part.
- CydeWeys 4y agoNobody is enforcing anyone coming into the office at all.
- dividefuel 4y agoIt probably depends a lot on where you live relative to the office. If you are within a short commute (e.g. < 30 minutes), hybrid is pretty nice. If you're a longer distance away (30-90 minutes), hybrid is doable but means a quality of life hit. If you relocated farther from the office, then hybrid is infeasible and you have to choose whether to move or to find a new job.
- cm2012 4y agoEmployees often like Hybrid it because it's obviously nice to be able to not show up and still do your work when you have stuff to do at home. But its really bad for a business to have everyone working in different ways. With people not reliably in the office it talks away most of the advantages an office can give you. I.E. Meetings with half the people calling into a conference are just bad. People talk about things in hallways and the remote folks are left out and not slacked/emailed about it.
