- ThaDood 4y agoWe went from HipChat to Teams and Teams is much better.
- HillRat 4y agoYeah, we also went HipChat + Skype -> Teams, and once one gets used to it, it's fine (and certainly better than XMPP hell). Teams' search was always problematic, but for our organizational use case (moderately long-lived chat rooms for the duration or sales or projects, with lots of conference calls), it was actually more usable than Slack or Zoom. Conversely, Slack seems much more effective for coordinating in-house tech teams handling ephemeral discussions. Horses for courses and all that.
