This is pretty easy to automate, I've been doing it a while using pipedream.com. You just need to hit https://mastodon.example/api/v1/statuses https://mastodon.example/api/v1/statuses with POST form body `access_token=SECRET&status=Your+message` It is nice to have this integrated simply though. One feature that my own script has is turning categories in the feed into hashtags and add #blog on the end. It isn't clear from the homepage if it supports anything like that.
