I hearken back before dot-bomb and occasionally people would ask me to work on "web sites" which they'd built with desktop publishing software (e.g. ColdFusion). They'd hand me the code that somebody would've already hacked on. Oftentimes, it still had the original copyright statements in it. Can't get the toothpaste back in the tube now! Plus it's shitcode. Where is that copy of ColdFusion? Looks of complete dumbfoundment. Oh gee kids, my mom's calling me for lunch; gotta go!
