- speedgoose 4y agoIt got many comments quickly and I guess the HN anti flame ware algorithm deprioritised the post.
- dang 4y agoA few reasons, including that it set off the flamewar detector a.k.a. overheated discussion detector; and we downweighted it because there have been countless yet-another-layoffs-story posts recently, so the bar for interestingness has to be higher.
