I feel any solution to this problem would be useful engineering for application development in a backend Microservice architecture. Being capable of querying and storing lots of data is similar to the problem of being internet scalable. I am surprised there is no default implementation that just scales to internet levels by default, for lots of user traffic. Would be nice if there was an infrastructure in a box that handled this for you. It's the kind of thing enterprise consortiums could work to provide
