I kind of agree that a % of any population craves violence, but I think that a large part of that is nurture and not nature. I also think America nurtures that aspect of humanity too damn much, and that America needs less violence. You have bullying in school, violent media, violent sports, military-worship, gun violence, violent crime, even typically non-violent crimes are more violent there. You have half the population buying guns and desperately hoping for a chance to use them, protests, counter protests, racial crime, homophobic/lgbtqia+ targetting crime, various political attacks. Just... maybe focus on some sports and activities that encourage collaboration and empathy?
