I recently built a full-stack app with Deno (and their Fresh framework https://fresh.deno.dev https://fresh.deno.dev) called Invo (https://invo.ee https://invo.ee) and the whole experience was delightful. I was able to move really fast and I never had to touch a configuration file, which also immensely helped with my motivation of actually building something - far too often I get stuck in a pile of config (I do Clojure mostly) and lose any motivation I had.

- askonomm 4y agoDeveloped using Fresh framework (https://fresh.deno.dev https://fresh.deno.dev) and deployed to Deno Deploy (https://deno.com/deploy https://deno.com/deploy). For persistent storage I use a simple MySQL instance from DigitalOcean (https://www.digitalocean.com/products/managed-databases https://www.digitalocean.com/products/managed-databases). The PDF creation is done via Browserless (https://www.browserless.io/ https://www.browserless.io/), which really just captures a website I point it towards and creates a PDF out of it.

- nrichardson 4y agoNitpick: > Additionally Invo supports USD, EUR, JPY and GDP currencies. Did you mean `GBP` here?

- noodlesUK 4y agoFWIW I just tried to create an invoice using your page and changing currencies doesn't appear to stick (Safari on MacOS).
- archon810 4y agoNice, simple, and to the point. One usability issue - the currency selector is hidden behind a gear icon on the last Total line, whereas you see the currency in previous lines without the ability to change it. I would move it somewhere much more obvious.
