An alternative to have both `shfmt` and `shellcheck` and all pre-commit hooks managed (that is, automatically installed until no longer used and garbage collected) is to use https://devenv.sh/ https://devenv.sh/.
After `devenv init`, update `devenv.nix` as follows:
