It was part of a trio that was interconnected via ipsec. The small cluster ran a mongodb replicaset and some Go backends and AngularJS frontends. I didn't really need them and I got rid of 2 servers. It's not irresponsible, I'm not a scrub and I won't be indirectly insulted.
