As someone who has done commercial and personal work in Elm for many years, I know that lots of people are actively and productively using it with fewer issues than most other mainstream languages. Of course there are issues in any language or ecosystem
So what is HAPPENING with Elm, is people are productively using it.
- culi 4y agoCan you give examples of any companies that are still using (as in writing new code not just maintaining old Elm code) Elm in 2023? StackShare doesn't list any recent ones

- jxxcarlson 4y agoAlso, brilliant.org and exosphere.app, both with large and active Elm code bases. I worked for brilliant for a time and now work for exosphere. Also, my own project, https://scripta.io https://scripta.io. About 45kloc of code split between the app (lamdera/elm) and the MicroLaTex-to-HTML compiler (elm). Have been working with Elm for five years and have been happy with both the experience and the results. E.g. radical refactors of core data structures are simply no big deal.
