    Most of the wildly optimistic price targets for $TSLA are based on robotaxi revenue. That's remarkable because that revenue is supposed to start within the timeframe of, for example ARKs current analyst report. Science fiction.

      I honestly thought that people had stopped believing in that at this point. It was always kind of baffling that they did. Like, you can sell some people, and even some important people (it came out recently that two UK water boards are using _dowsing_, and then there was the CIA telekinetic research) of any old nonsense, but there certainly seems to have been a _mainstream_ belief in robotaxis any day now, and it’s really odd that people bought it.
