I remember telling crappy stories to my kids when they were little but they enjoyed it. I used to decide a topic like flying toy cycle or a magical ball and made some random story with the same ending where the kids have their meal and it's night and the go to bed. They knew it was the end when I came to the meal part of the story and there would be silence and they fell asleep. I used to struggle sometimes but for over 100s of nights, I managed to tell them a story each night. Glad there is an app now for that :)
