Honestly, I don't see much of an impact on sales when my blog posts reach the front page of HN. I'm sure that it helps some, but nothing dramatic. In terms of ROI, there's much better payoff in writing content aimed at the smaller niche of homelab users and IT folks. I mostly write these out of vanity because I think it's fun getting feedback on the process. So, thanks for reading!
