Could it be because Valve said they were very careful in choosing their ssd in terms of power draw and wifi interference?
- washadjeffmad 4y agoValve meant that to indicate they'd designed with high frequency signals in mind, not that it's a consideration unique to the Steam deck. You're likelier to generate interference to radio performance from the display mode or USB devices, and ensuring datarates from common internal storage won't interfere is part of that.

- moffkalast 4y agoNah Valve says that for everything they do, from the gui buttons in Steam to Gordon Freeman's moustache.
- speed_spread 4y agoTBH, picking the wrong moustache could have truly Unforeseen Consequences.
- Crosseye_Jack 4y agoTBF, The wifi in the whole of sector C has been awful since Gordon was poking around with the anti mass spectrometer!
- yamtaddle 4y agoKnock it off with the Half Life jokes or we'll run you out of this town On a Rail.
- SketchySeaBeast 4y agoWell, if you glued your protagonist's mouth shut due to a tragic moustache choice you'd understand too.
