It's great for writing regex.
- swatcoder 4y agoNow you have three problems. But you know what it’s actually good at? Explaining why it’s not so great at writing accurate regular expressions: > Complexity: Regular expressions can become very complex and hard to read, even for experienced users. This can make it difficult for me to generate an accurate expression that meets the specific requirements. > Limited context: Regular expressions require an understanding of the context in which they will be used. If the context is not clear or is ambiguous, I may have trouble generating an appropriate expression. > Limitations of my training data: The quality and diversity of the training data I was trained on affects my ability to generate accurate regular expressions. If my training data did not include enough examples of a particular type of regular expression or if it was limited in some other way, I may not be able to generate an accurate expression for that scenario. > Human error: My training data includes examples written by humans, and humans are prone to making mistakes. If the training data I was exposed to contains incorrect or poorly-formed regular expressions, I may learn and replicate those mistakes in my own outputs.
