My recommendation is don't let yourself be hired at Yahoo. I honestly cannot see the upside in it, especially if they're going to turn around and lay you off.

Would you take a job at AOL right now?
- olliej 4y agoAlternatively: be unemployed, it has really great benefits! Not every job is going to be at the Next Big Thing, or have you Change The World, or suddenly give you stock worth millions. Would I be making plans of working at Yahoo or AOL or some such in the hope of some miracle turnaround, no, but if they were to turn around and offer me a bunch more than what I'm currently making why shouldn't I consider it?
- replwoacause 4y agoI don’t care about the next big thing or changing the world. I’m just not interested in working for companies that were mismanaged into the ground.
