- WarOnPrivacy 4y agoThanks partially to the influx of California-sized dollars, Florida housing prices have skyrocketed, right along with our homeless population. Florida's Insurance (house, auto, etc) rates have climbed even faster than housing. Stories of double - quadruple rate hikes abound. In the span of a few years, Florida has gone from one of the most affordable states to live to one of the least affordable. We apparently win big at losing.
