An irrelevant technicality in our day and age

  Nobody is forcing anyone to shout racist nonsense on public forums. If you don’t want social consequences, then don’t pick up the veritable megaphone that is social media. We can easily live our lives without declaring our stance on everything ever and shouting them on social media platforms. Don’t say anything you can’t openly stand behind. We make those decisions sometimes hundreds of times a day when dealing face to face with people. We self-censor every day with our family and various social groups to avoid social and professional consequences. I don’t understand why that is so hard to translate when we go online.
