I found this program last week and replaced AnyDesk with it, but after reading all the comments around the security issues and especially seeing that their relay servers are potentially hosted in Beijing, I'm feeling a bit sick to my stomach honestly. I'm going to uninstall it and do more research. I'm not comfortable with the ambiguity around something that is effectively an open door to my entire system.

The main reason for switching to RustDesk is so I can build my own version and deploy it on the work laptop. I'm using PiKVM to VNC into the work laptop right now, but it's a poor alternative at the moment with the latency and resolution issues in TigerVNC.
