GI is here, now. It doesn't seem to have much effect on the decision process. Why do you think AGI would have any effect?
At least directly. Theoretically, I guess, if AGI somehow precipitated a significant increase in global education levels and, especially, female education levels, then it would have an indirect effect on birth rates. But I'm not sure what that link from AGI to education would entail.
- stokasticParrot 4y agoAGI would be able to do exponentially better than any baby human, and the solution out of that is in brain-machine interfaces, meta morphing Humans & AI , so any baby born today, will probably need a chip, just to be close to AGI capabilities, now the question returns, why would we need babies at that time if we're just trying to get them closer to AGI?
