I'd love to see some research on optimal display size/configuration. My intuition is that there's a balance between 1) having enough space to see what you're focusing on and some reference/documentation and 2) having so much space things get lost and you spend time trying to find that thing you care about. I feel like 30" is the upper limit here. I use a 27" 4k monitor at 150% scale, and wouldn't want more than two at that resolution. An ultrawide would probably be nice, though.
