Look at how much you pay for taxes and ask whether four kids could be raised on that. The answer is likely no for anyone not in the top top percentiles.
Edit-google says 12980/kid per year. That’s 51,920 for four. Edit-if that’s 30% of income (guesstimate) that income needs to be 173-200k (guesstimate) to work out.
- spacedcowboy 4y agoAs a FAANG engineer, that's considerably less than half of my pre-tax income, so abso-fucking-lutely. And for once I'm using the word fucking correctly... Of course the wife is past child-bearing age, so she might have some issues with the whole idea :)
