I use my Steam Deck almost exclusively docked in to the Steam Dock, connected to my projector and beamed to a whole-wall 190" image. It works great so I'd be curious to hear about your obstacles.
- some-guy 4y agoI don't know if there was an update, but one of the main issues I had was that my TV supports 4K, and the steam deck would natively try to select 4K in big picture mode, except that it would default to 30hz because that's what my dock supported. There wasn't any way at the time to set the TV resolution lower so I could get it to 60hz, but I'm not sure if that has changed.
