- brianjking 4y agoNowhere does this article say it's GPT4. It's GPT 3.5 which is what is in ChatGPT along with Microsoft's own model, Prometheus.
- O__________O 4y agoFrom the article verbatim: > “Today, at a press event in Redmond, Washington, Microsoft announced its long-rumored integration of OpenAI’s GPT-4 model into Bing, providing a ChatGPT-like experience within the search engine.” And here’s another source stating it’s GPT-4 as well: https://www.computerworld.com/article/3687220/microsoft-bing-is-about-to-get-chatty-with-openai.html https://www.computerworld.com/article/3687220/microsoft-bing... Even Microsoft’s own press release states, “Next-generation OpenAI model. We’re excited to announce the new Bing is running on a new, next-generation OpenAI large language model that is more powerful than ChatGPT and customized specifically for search. It takes key learnings and advancements from ChatGPT and GPT-3.5 – and it is even faster, more accurate and more capable.” For the next-generation model to “ChatGPT and customized specifically for search. It takes key learnings and advancements from ChatGPT and GPT-3.5” — it by definition cannot be either OpenAI’s ChatGPT or GPT-3.5 model.
- brianjking 4y agoYeah, watch the actual talks. It's GPT 3.5 + Microsoft's own model. GPT-4 is not available.
