I agree, I've personally used ChatGPT as a "fill in the blanks" kind of tool for non-technical prose. I provide the skeleton and structure, ChatGPT paints in the lines. It's also extremely easy to proofread and verify it's not spouting nonsense. Would a talented writer do better? Absolutely. But I'm using it for fun and it does a much better job than I can.
