Given how many folks use Grammarly, I just don’t think many people actually care about privacy.
- orev 4y agoIt’s more likely that many people don’t know what’s going on, or if they do at a surface level they don’t fully understand all the implications. So much stuff is buried in usage agreement legalese that nobody reads, which companies use mostly for plausible deniability. They’re not actually trying to inform anyone about how data is used, and they have every incentive to try to hide the details (or make them as difficult as possible to find).
