Instead, all you need is an engineer who can throw some ML at the uncurated mountain of data your organization has collected. Little to no value is placed on the resources that can frame an actionable hypothesis, even though the entire value proposition arises from this exercise! Sounds like the data scientists need to get together with the MBAs and they can do companies where nobody needs to actually know what they're doing.
