- jfengel 4y agoIt's not a story of scientific heroism. It's a story of scientific villainy. She's the victim. The heroes, if any, were Skloot and Henrietta's daughter Deborah for exposing the villainy. Henrietta herself may not deserve memorialization for her own cells, but she's an important symbol of numerous injustices that still plague science and medicine.
