This is effectively the usual advice that some neurotypical people give to others, with little appreciation for how others may be different. "Get some discipline", "build a habit", etc. If this approach works for you then that's great, I'm sure it will work for many people. But to suggest it will work for anyone and everyone is ridiculous.
