Considering how GPU-backed UI is viewed as a performance win, I wonder why Flutter web performs so poorly.
- dahart 4y agoUsing GPUs only enables high performance. It definitely doesn’t guarantee it. ;)
- mhoad 4y agoFlutter web is in the process of moving to a new rendering pipeline that is C++ compiled to WASM and backed by WebGPU. I don’t think they are going to have troubles performance wise for long.
